Curtis’ aspiration to help others defines both his career choice of wealth management as well as his volunteer pursuits as a lacrosse coach and contributor to a mentorship program for young teenagers in his community.
Studying economics at Queen’s University, Curtis’ desire to learn and challenge himself led him to graduate with Honours while concurrently contributing to various extra-curricular activities. He joined Newport Private Wealth in 2014.
As a Portfolio Manager, Curtis applies his values towards building relationship-first connections with clients. Writing his honours paper on the importance of stewardship within the investment industry, he embodies an attentive and thorough approach to serving clients. As a member of Newport’s NextWave program for young adults, his efforts are directed towards educating the next generation on various financial topics.
Curtis holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and is currently studying for his Certified International Wealth Manager designation to better meet the needs of clients.
With a love for the outdoors, Curtis can be found at his family farm north of Toronto or training for his latest personal goal of racing in a half Ironman.
